I began my career over 17 years ago first starting out in Germany helping out at the hair salon where my grandmother was a client. Later I began to apprentice on summer vacations at the salon.

After completing training and licensing in Dallas, I later attended advance training at the Wella Studio in London. I worked for Wella International as an educator for 5 years and assisted in numerous hair shows and events for Wella.

Later my career would take me back to Germany for further training at the Labothene Academy in Pforzheim Germany and then as an Artistic Director for 2 years at Stephen’s Hairstyles Salon in Karlsruhe Germany.

After returning back to Dallas and working for the past 9 years I opened The Raymond Stark Salon in April of 2004 to fulfill a life’s dream. My passion is all about hair and working with clients to create the perfect cut and color to enhance their own beauty. I believe a client’s needs change just as the seasons do and so do styles and fashion.

A thorough consultation is important so that both the Artist and client have a clear vision of what the client’s needs really are and what direction to take them to achieve the perfect look and balance for that client’s lifestyle.

I enjoy being an Artist each day offers me another day to fulfill my passion and dreams and each day offers different challenges. That’s what I have always loved about my career it’s the best job in the world and each day is a new day to achieve new styles and have fun with my clients.
